Half a year? You must keep in touch dear Fons I will be looking out for you. Take care of yourself and tell us about your experiences
Jewaira
You’re just a good energy, forever my hart ! I like this form of save scribble.
My own illusion of love will be-come true.
Let’s forget our body’s and stay in words like love’s and sweetie’s in do’s and don’ts.
In words like question, music, shopping, sunshine, happening, photograph, Hendrix, dessert flower.
Let stay in words like Nefertiti or Dora Maar.
=============================================
Keep coming back dear Fons Love your little words and ideas.
Jewaira
It is so boring over here. The papers, television the people, everything talks about the new addiction ” an inconvenient truth.”
It makes a lot of money go round like any other addiction.
I have an inconvenient truth myself…but it is to personal.So I do not talk about it.Al together, nice weather.
=================================
What is your inconvenient truth dear Fons? Tell all
J
So you have discovered where we have our secret rendezvous?
No need to apply. The Boudoir is open for all and most especially to people like you. Make yourself comfortable.
Jewaira
because they are long legged they always before me I never can catch them, they walking, running faster.Thats how they stay secrets or daydreams if you like.
I already share emptynes and the illusion of love with you, so no more secrets.
Otherwise I have to crack down the Gilbert and George wisdom : “All my live I’ll give you nothing and still you ask for more.”
An to answer your question from april 3 ,I am experienced.
=============================================
So experienced persons must share their wisdom with other less experienced souls
Jewaira
hehe ana waainy 3an hal page min zmaan?! Jewaira jewaira you have the most colorful and quirkiest readers in the blog world.. I swear i’ve come to know what type of comments to expect from the “regulars”, very entertaining to say the least.

=====================
Thank you dear Fons for clarifying and for the lovely painting
Jewaira
I think my favourite is love in winter.
Or perhaps in autumn (like where they have that season )
I would like to be in love in Paris in the spring.
Jewaira
Greetings from my humble lil island Malta, where there’s a cool breeze accompanying a scorching sun
==========================================
What would my blog be without Jan6a peering in every now and then?
We will bring the Magical Mystical Boudoir Bus to Malta and you can drive it for us around the island.
Jewaira
Cimos (International Language Services) translate English to Arabic.
The last two weeks weather change autumn. The best way it is ever expressed (autumn in the low-lands) is by Jacques Brel in Le Plat Pays. My favorite “mind-song” the coming weeks.
Love the song Fons. Here is a link with English subtitles. You’re lucky it is turning to autumn where you are. Here in Kuwait, it is still extremely hot.
Jewaira
Thank you for the links, if you look -Mijn vlakke land- you see what I see this days.
On they age of 14/15 we go on Saturday (free from school) to the department store where they sell the gramophones, always ask for Jacques Brel. The girl who work there like to do so, kindly smile,for half a year, good memories of those days.
So I grow up by Brel and always return on autumn. I already noticed “your hellish heat” in Kuwait.
For cold you can cloth yourself, what for the heat?
Is it clear to you what the fleshlys are?
Remember another thing by now, a T shirt some weeks ago. Turquoise, in the middle, heart heigh an old black record with the account in white letters :
MUSIC
Sounds better
with you……..
=========================
Fons
Thanks for the Dutch version , that was what I was looking for initially I guess.
In our hellish heat, we hide inside in air-conditioned rooms
When I read the Book of Translation (1962)
Flesh’~ly, vleselijk, zinnelijk, means:
carnal,sensual, sensuous, voluptuous.
============================
OH DEAR!!! I’m so sorry Fons!! Of course you meant fleshly and I do know what that means. I feel like such a fool! Lol! Sometimes the answer is so simple but we look for a difficult solution.
Jewaira
…It is always a pleasure to see the Twin-Roses on your banner…
===============================
Fons
It is also time for the Twin Rosas of summer to go now and they will be replaced by another banner
It is always my pleasure to see you here.
Jewaira
Saint Genet as he was named by J.P.Sartre.
For some reason I have to think about hospitality, on your blog.
You see, it is a curious/serious fun for me to find out what the difference/similarity is (can be) between a sunny grown up girl and a grey cloudy me.
The most “Arabian” hospitality that I experience was in Morocco (1983) for 4 weeks.
So,…hospitality, how little niche’s globalize, how to complete a portrait with mosaic stones.
Prisoner of love is about Black Panthers and P.L.O. the freedom movement and so much more. One of the “key-parts” in this beautiful book is the hospitality Genet experience from Hamza’s Palestine mother.That’s why I ask my dear.
==============
Yes, I know
But it is an interesting correlation by you dear Fons who may come from a grey cloudy place but your heart is full of sunshine
Jewaira
Dying is easy it’s living that scares me to death
I could be so content hearing the sound of your breath
Cold is the colour of cristal the snowlight
That falls from the heavenly skies
Catch me and let me dive under
For I want to swim in the pools of your eyes
Heheh, I think just enjoy your bicycling now Fons on the beautiful Dutch shores.
What’s the weather like these days? Here is hot and sunny. We are still waiting patiently for the cooler season. I do hope we have some semblance of a winter this year
One of the best clouddesingers is working here in Noord-Holland.Really !
The clear intense and glowing light-bleu arise because the land is surrounded for three side’s by water, the North Sea and the IJselmeer.
The sunlight reflection from the water will give a special intensely sparkling silver to the going one move from rude grey till subtle bleu.
Every cloud has a silver lining.
Al this movements and forms from the last two weeks change in to a monotonous autumn grey.
We, missMoonen and me make Lgaimat yesterday, Swair recipe, it taste very good. The lemmon flavour in the syrup is a nearly unknown delight. Some higher honey sometimes.
====================
Wow Fons! That is just great! I love that you made lgaimat. You should have taken a photo and shared with us
So glad you enjoyed the last day of summer. May your days always be full of the appreciation of nature’s beauty.
By the time I can make a photo an send it to you, the tulips are from mid Asia,maybe more nearby than the Lowlands,can I send the children when they waffle for use the computer?
—————
You see! Heheh, I know that you are competing with the kids to use the computer aren’t you!!!
Before I send the children (LOL) thought mysellf let’s have a Country vieuw and what do I read,…”It appeared in a Dutch map dated in the mid-17th century, the earliest know map showing present-day Kuwait as al-Qurain”. So our forefathers have already something common, that is why I feel so familiar by you.
=========================
Yes!!
The cartographer Isaak Tirion drew the first Dutch map , which showed Kazima as a main port overlooking the coast, in 1732.Kuwait in Historical Maps
Thank you for linking, there is something exciting in the past!
(like a privateer on coast ) I need to know !lol! Did you walk on the Green Island ? Did you drink coffee on Liberation Tower ?
I realy love Al-Hazra what a beauty.
=======================
Yes, I enjoy walking around Green Island and I was just in Liberation Tower this morning! But no coffee as it is Ramadan
Al-Hazra? Al-Hathra is a traditional way of catching fish by luring them into the trap and then fetching them at low tide
It is an honour mr Mushaakes, the cartoon you mean is about the prejudice that is common for a (small?) group in society.
For the last 40 years the Netherlands grow as an immigration country. Generally the Muslim children are from Turkey and Morocco.
Before Roman Catholic and Calvinist will be the most important group now these days Islam is getting an influence in/on society, and as an “not western European” phenomenon it can give some trouble.
Something like Kuwait for the Kuwaities. It can be difficult sometimes.
with a friendly greet,
Fons.
=======================
Fons
The cartoon clip that Mushaakes referred to shows Muslim women discussing the trouble their children are getting into. Similarly, the Turkish Chick clip youreferred to shows the young woman in a negative light (promiscuous)
Is there a feeling of rising antagonism now in the Netherlands towards the increasing number of Muslims in the population?
Jewaira,
The Cinema.nl clip is a COMEDY. I can not tell you if it is his imagination at the end, only can tell you “it is a comedy”.
I never see the young woman in a negative light. She rule her own (sex) life, that is o.k. to me.
Beside that I see here like some portraits by Johannes Vermeer or as the Birth of Venus from Sandro Botticelli.
She is an outstanding beauty !
The other question is more complicated. I will answer you at the stoplight,I do not like to have it in front of Contact.
=============
Well the girl is gorgeous no doubt about that
Jewaira
I ask for the sailing because I have read the Kuwait history and find the sailing stories from the past.
I sail a lot with friends in the past, I do not know 2 too
and like to play Chess with you one time.
One other question, my dear queen of Chess.
Talking about gorgeous…can you give me when possible some more information about the YouTube movie from: Pinkyaa Added August 27, 2007 03:39. All the information is in Arabic.
What the group is where they singing for ? I am really astonish by the beauty from this all.
=================================
Please link to it Fons because she has over 300 videos
hey there I’ve discovered your blog only recently and i must say its both daring and entertaining.
I especially like your short stories some might see them as offending but I see them as innovative and edgy.
Though I was thinking to myself it would be great if you could some in Arabic every now and then, meaning in Kuwaiti dialect.
Those stories are nice as they are don’t get me wrong but I think having some in Kuwaiti would add to the diversity of experience and make it more colorful. Anyways thanks for this amazing blog and keep the good work up.
========================
Thank you for your words of encouragement BuEbrahim; it is always a pleasure to hear feedback from readers. You are right that some stories would be better told in the Kuwaiti dialect and I may consider that sometime in the future but I can’t really say that it would be any time soon.
Always open to suggestions for stories (ideas and real situations) as well from readers .
No no, it is an poem by Jan Arends a dutch writer, carry it in my wallet for more than 10 year between the photographs from missis moonen an the children
Beside the forbidden fruit we have: apple, orange, banana, mandarin, avocado, kiwi, stawberrie, melon, pear, grape, pineapple, mango, fig, date,…
What we cannot grow ourselves, we import from sunnier and warmer countries. My personel favourite is grapefruit, the red one.
========================
I think the red grapefruit tastes amazing especially the one of Turkish origin.
Love papaya too and mangoes and pomegranates, juicy figs, and….
so much to choose from!
Jewaira
I believe the 21st century will be a world without art in the sense that we have it now.
It will be a world without objects, where the human being can be on such a high level of consciousness and has such a strong mental state that he or she can transmit thoughts and energy to other people, without needing objects in between.
So there will not be sculptures, or paintings, or installations.
Marina Abromovic (1990)
====================
We may be beginning but there is still a long way to go for all of that
Jewaira
Inspired by your :” finger nails were thickly lined with dark soil from digging my hands passionately into the sweet moist earth ” (yesterday) I bought 50 large flowering Crocus mixed.(bulbs)

My Lady,
For me this clip is a real eye-opener, it shows a lively/lighthearted freshness (in sound move an colour) that is regrettably unknown over here.
The graceful pure beauty from this women astonish me over an over again. As a real gentleman I prefer Dark !
==================
This gentleman prefers brunettes and black haired lassies then
I am glad you are exploring Kuwaiti videos Fons and appreciating them.
Sometimes I have the idea that “they” try to make you (me) believe that civilisation start 500 before,…whatshisname? I never believe that.So it is good to look any further.
Wil you give me a brief explanation what is the song about ?
=================
Fons
this is a song performed in celebration of the National Day of Kuwait . Essentially it is saying congratulations Kuwait and rejoice in your celebrations.

So strange, one day it is spring and the other day it look and feel like autumn, the winter as I know before is gone.Very strange but no more real winters in Holland!
=====================================
So are you getting a tan now with the sunshine in Hollanda, dear Fons?
Those day’s the sun is to far away for giving any tan at all ( it change my mood not my skin) but every day it wil be more and more nearby. This day I have seen the first pink blossom in the tree’s. Tan change start by tree I will follow soon.
When I walk in to the back garden, I say ‘hello Harry’ to the fig-tree that is standing, growing there.
‘You are doing well’.
It is gonna be his fifth fig summer here in Holland, and his height reaches my nose. My I.D. say : 1.82
Four years ago, Harry gave me fig leaves on clod.
Two years ago old Harry passed away at the age 84. He was ready for it; lived his life, it was good, to the end.
We have seen each other,ourself 35 years back in time. When I stepped in a central city cafe, he was standing, leaning against the wall, a Professor in vagabond disguise. He can be both. boozy boon. motherless child.
Once together, now and then, we share life as a free fall into something that is bigger than us. He recommended to me The Book of Secrets and we liked to play chess.
A Gentlemen. Never any complaint or nasty remark. Harry was the owner of a very solid wisdom and an Opel Commodore.
In the south of France his wife A. and Harry had a second house.
It was for sale.
At the age seventy-something and near to eighty it is a difficult journey, two or three times a year from Gothic City to Lezignac, near Narbonne. So the house was sold.
By that time Harry asked me if I wonna have something to remember the house. I wrote back that I would really be pleased to have one leaf from the fig-tree on the end, the corner from the house, where the landscape start. He did, more than that.
One of last times we have seen was in Amsterdam. Half the way Gothic City and the village where I breathe. There he was, standing, outside the station, two plastic shopping bags beside…flowering… as always.
‘ dear Fons…I bring you…’ with a rascality grin and farmer fingers he open bag one; Inside,: fig leaves between carton and a bottle first class Calvados.
Bag two contain fig leaves in South French soil.
To sit down shady, the tree in French the first time, was an endless experience. In two minutes I close my book and read no more.
A figment,figleave sound ‘n story go on and on in this area. The Valley of Wind.
a restless rush roll to tomtom, lonesome into melancholic..dripping..raindrops..waves…with a sea shore sound disappear in a whispering mumble from 10.000 lost souls…a still hunt…crumple paper news…fulvous silky,silent…a reverence than. a hammering Bach bagatelle for clavichord pass on to end all up in a great roll of applause itself…
Here in the gault, this summer for the first time side figgy-twiggy’s grow out, eye-high in all directions from the three forked stipe.
Complete, shy, little leaves, foliate speechless for absolute green curved moments
Ready to catch a ripe falling fig.
So my dear it take some time, but now I know,…
‘ask my questions to the moon, get my answers from the fig’
Stay steady, go with the wind.
(with love)
Fons.
========================
Thank you for sharing that with us dear Fons. I hope you enjoy the fruit of that wonderful fig tree and listen to Harry’s wisdom as his soul shares special moments with you.
Jewaira.

It is so boring over here. The papers, television the people, everything talks about the new addiction ” an inconvenient truth.”
It makes a lot of money go round like any other addiction.
I have an inconvenient truth myself…but it is to personal.So I do not talk about it.Al together, nice weather.
=================================
What is your inconvenient truth dear Fons? Tell all

One more answer on 56 ?
Feel the Flowers die sometime
the Roses in the room
the Fleshlys in the street
the Lilys in the field
(where have all the flowers gone?)
==========================
Fons
I don’t know what Fleshlys are; is it a type of flower?
So is it the end of summer there for you?
Jewaira
Fons
I love this rendition by Jacques Brel of Ne Me Quitte Pas
=========================
Fons
Thanks for the Dutch version , that was what I was looking for initially I guess.
In our hellish heat, we hide inside in air-conditioned rooms
I still don’t know what fleshlys are. Sorry.

Jewaira
When I read the Book of Translation (1962)
Flesh’~ly, vleselijk, zinnelijk, means:
carnal,sensual, sensuous, voluptuous.
============================
OH DEAR!!! I’m so sorry Fons!! Of course you meant fleshly and I do know what that means. I feel like such a fool! Lol! Sometimes the answer is so simple but we look for a difficult solution.

Dear Fons,
Jean Genet again? Or am I wrong?
==============
Yes, I know
But it is an interesting correlation by you dear Fons who may come from a grey cloudy place but your heart is full of sunshine

The last 2/3 weeks a splendid summer-after-party is going on in the sky, tell you more the end of the day, go out to bike now

Hope you had a lovely bike ride

Today the real last summerday !
====================
Wow Fons! That is just great! I love that you made lgaimat. You should have taken a photo and shared with us
So glad you enjoyed the last day of summer. May your days always be full of the appreciation of nature’s beauty.
Jewaira
Thanks for the good wish. It is a blessing to live out of the city in free nature.
Lived in the city for 45 year. Easy speak “take a photo”,… I’m already happy, that I can answer a telephone and put on T.V.
It is all going too fast for a lazy person like me. At last the computer was installed for the children!
But,… will grow into it.
Today in Vomar super-market, bought: 20 TULIPA Single late Queen of Night.
ENG.These flower bulbs can be planted from September until December.They are easy to flower in the Spring, store dry and cool until planting.
==========================================
The tulips sound lovely.
The computer was installed for the children or for you
?
Jewaira
Yes yes, for the children!
I’m an old fashion book reader !
=========================
OK
Send us some tulips with you in the spring time then!
Jewaira
By the time I can make a photo an send it to you, the tulips are from mid Asia,maybe more nearby than the Lowlands,can I send the children when they waffle for use the computer?
—————
You see! Heheh, I know that you are competing with the kids to use the computer aren’t you!!!
You have to take turns don’t you?
Send the children no problemo
Jewaira
Before I send the children (LOL) thought mysellf let’s have a Country vieuw and what do I read,…”It appeared in a Dutch map dated in the mid-17th century, the earliest know map showing present-day Kuwait as al-Qurain”. So our forefathers have already something common, that is why I feel so familiar by you.

I realy love Al-Hazra what a beauty.
=======================
Yes, I enjoy walking around Green Island and I was just in Liberation Tower this morning! But no coffee as it is Ramadan
Al-Hazra? Al-Hathra is a traditional way of catching fish by luring them into the trap and then fetching them at low tide
Jewaira
O.K., by Kuwait in photo it is spelt as Al-Hazra. Kuwait in Historical Maps. Good information !

Fons
It is probably simply a difference in dialects.
We’ll continue to share information here. You’ve got great ideas.
Jewaira
Thank you for recognize
One of the most tasteful idea I’ve got this time is about the end of Democracy and grow in to a useful form of Anarchy.
A lot of Paper-T.V discussion here in Holland is about how to arrange society and keep your (own?) identity.
Wherewithal they mostly mean how to fit Islam in Dutch society.
Give you some Dutch fun before it start serious.

Fons
I appreciate all your interactions here
Jewaira
Greetings Fons Moonen.
I have a question for you, if you don’t mind.
I followed the link you put in Comment 95 above and found this cartoon:
I found the cartoons ok, but this one I found interesting:
http://www.sigmund.nl/?p=home_eng&l=eng&d=10
which says that supposedly Muslim children are either stealing or worse. I wonder if that is a common feeling in the Netherland!
By the way, I am just asking being curious, nothing more.
Thanks
Hey what happened to the sigmund site? Fons do you know anything about it? Says under construction
I think they working on the Sigmund site and it wil be soon as possible back in “the air”.
If nothing change the end of the week I will ask the publisher.
————-
Thanks Fons
J
Mr Mushaakes,
It is an honour mr Mushaakes, the cartoon you mean is about the prejudice that is common for a (small?) group in society.
It can be difficult sometimes.
with a friendly greet,
Fons.
=======================
What about crime rate amongst Muslim Dutch?
Jewaira
Jewaira,
The Cinema.nl clip is a COMEDY.
=============
Well the girl is gorgeous no doubt about that
Jewaira
No link for Vermeer and Botticelli ?

One other question, my dear queen of Chess.
Talking about gorgeous…can you give me when possible some more information about the YouTube movie from: Pinkyaa Added August 27, 2007 03:39. All the information is in Arabic.
What the group is where they singing for ? I am really astonish by the beauty from this all.
=================================
Please link to it Fons because she has over 300 videos
Jewaira
hey there I’ve discovered your blog only recently and i must say its both daring and entertaining.
========================

Good one, Fons.
You have learned about one favourite fruit and staple of Arab diet.
What fruit do the Dutch like to eat?
Jewaira
Beside the forbidden fruit we have: apple, orange, banana, mandarin, avocado, kiwi, stawberrie, melon, pear, grape, pineapple, mango, fig, date,…
What we cannot grow ourselves, we import from sunnier and warmer countries. My personel favourite is grapefruit, the red one.
========================

Hi F
Thank you for your nice comment. I always appreciate hearing from readers.
SundayFunday posts are not regular unfortunately; there are ideas, but many of them crumble before even becoming a little story.
I need Neptunian energies conducive to a creative environment. Hopefully soon
Jewaira
dear Jewaira,
(a letter)
(with love)
Fons.

Thank you for sharing that with us dear Fons. I hope you enjoy the fruit of that wonderful fig tree and listen to Harry’s wisdom as his soul shares special moments with you.
