putting a price tag on it removes from the intrinsic worth of the artist and the creation
However, unless one has a patron who looks after the artist’s well-being, one has to make money out of something, no?
Now these days art and sport are money-games ruled by money-gamers.

as usual quite interesting
I just don’t see it being worth that much.I have sold my art before but never for that much but I do it because I love it not to make a living.I find the art world full of people who think more of themselves than anyone else does and I find that sort of self importance very phoney and off putting.I’d rather be anonymous and left alone.

Yeah, me too. What kind of art do you do, Christina?
Lately most of my work is in fabrics I like to quilt.I don’t paint and draw as much as I did in my younger days because about 15 years ago I gave most of it up because of wrist problems.I still do some work in charcoals though sometimes you just have to draw.:) I’ve also been working on more computer arts as in drawing and designing machine embroidery designs.It’s exciting watching a machine reproduce what you’ve told it to do.
