Making Music June 27, 2009

Two Arab music teachers were caught kissing in a car on the 6th or 7th ring road motorway recently (the location varies according to different sources). They were spotted and reported by a good law abiding citizen and consequently apprehended.
I wondered as I read the news paper, were they kissing as the car was being driven, or did they park on the side of the highway and engage in an attempted quickie?
Was it early in the morning before going to work? Was he dropping her off at her school before going on his merry way? Or was it a night time escapade where they thought surely we won’t get caught on this long and lonely road.
Passion is a bitch (as the Arabs say daughter of a dog Bint Kalb)
I dont get why it was in the newspaper, hun can you explain laish the newspaper published a piece that is about two people kissing on their own time?
Thank you love
Hello Moodhi
It was a bit of news in the Crime Section which I investigated and commented on in my own way without much ado
love your remark.. it felt like poetry although it’s just a wonderment..
am naturally curious and most of the time these little news snippets leave one to wonder about many things
Is it just that I am too concerned with details or is something wrong with the way information is presented?
Jewaira, is it illegal to kiss in public in Kuwait?
Well, yes, any public display of affection and overt intimacy is considered a lewd and indecent act.
You have made me wonder about the actual written law against kissing in public though.
Good on them. At least they knew their minds and had the courage to act upon it when they did. They need all the support they can get from us not ridicule and derision. As music teachers they understood that music is an instrument of spreading love not persecution or hate. Shame on the law abiding citizen who reported them to the officials – perhaps he felt he was not getting enough love and tactile comfort from his partner.
No ridicule or derision here Lewd & Lewder
LOL @ the last line of the post!!!!
it is a boyish phrase
It sad that our society is that closed that people can’t do anything anywhere, not that I think stopping on the side of the road is smart in the first place! lol
in any case it is an interesting image
in this blistering heat, many are driven to mad behaviour
