I do enjoy the links readers send me. One does not have time to scour the entire Internet and I appreciate the selective links special friends share.
The shared story today is Sex Without Intimacy: No Dating, No Relationships
Is dating really an obsolete notion and are people less inclined to spend time nurturing relationships that will evolve into long term commitments?
I have noticed a growing tendency of some people to indulge in short term, casual relationships especially regionally. The attitude towards casual relationships displayed by some people is both discrete and blase. There is an undercurrent. There is a buzz.
Is it a sign of the times? Or have people always adjusted their lives to fit their whims?

Although sex within a serious loving relationship is better, sometimes sex in a hook-up can be passionate and fun, too. I’m glad people are more relaxed now about sex. Life is less stressful this way. Life is better when people lighten up a bit. In any case, no one needs to participate if they don’t want to. The problem comes only when some people want to control the behavior of others, and that is a general problem that is with us still in many ways. Live and let live.
