There will
be no place
for hate
in this
heart
=========
i stare at your
face
framed by the lace
black veil
and
suddenly
my eyes
cannot move away
your features
so familiar
from a long away
space
a distant time
already
buried in my subconscious
already decaying
in my conscious
I know those features
but it is like
waking up
from a deep sleep;
it is recognition
and then
finally…
I understand;
and my
defenses
raise their heads,
my eyes
become shields
to protect this sensitive soul,
my body
is wrapped
in a metal sheath,
and you make
your way
over to me
with a smile that hides
many things,
and you reveal
many things
in time.
That is
chance.
It is the unexpected encounter.

It is not just women who are vain and seek eternal youth. According to the Telegraph, men are also going for botox injections to salvage the remains of a youthful expression. According to statistics in the article, there has been a fifty percent increase in the number of males in the UK seeking anti-ageing botox treatments in the past year. Now that is something.
I wonder what the figures would be for Kuwait?
Cosmetic surgery and treatments abound in Kuwait. Even ancient dermatologists like Dr. Musa Salama Jabr has opened such a clinic. It is a lucrative business. People are vain. And looking youthful is desirable.
