Would you fancy some dessert after the particularily heavy course in the previous post?
Well then, let’s talk about chocolate.
Chocolate has always had a well-preserved passionate spot in the hearts of Kuwaitis. At one point in pre-invasion history, Cadbury chocolates were not available in Kuwait (banned?) So anyone traveling to London had to bring back the essential gift (9ogha) which was a carton of Flake chocolates or Cadbury chocolate bars.
What was the fixation with these chocolates? Flake is a messy kind of chocolate and the only place to eat it properly is in the bath tub or outdoors where you don’t have to worry where the chocolate flakes will fall.
What brings this up?
I have been fixated on Bounty bars for the past couple of days and looking all over for a clip of one of the taste of paradise ads. I was unsuccessful but instead, have found some amusing Flake adverts that I must say we have not seen in Kuwait.
There is the classic Cadbury’s Flake ad where a woman is eating a bar in an overflowing bathtub. A very sensuous experience. See guys, women can live without you!
After enjoying the above ad, watch boy in bath Flake ad. Avert your pure virginal eyes girls!
Now if you really want to go retro(recommended for the older, more sophsticated viewer) , then this is an even creamier, more orgasmic experience from 1969.
But what’s this one? With mobile phone in hand, a cougar/lioness named Happiness, this has to be the most suggestive Flake ad here….
Which one of these ad would make you want to buy a Flake? For me, none. I am still looking for the Bounty advert!
However, this Indian Cadbury commercial is cute and might make me crave a Cadbury bar…
