Does Art imitate Reality? Or does Reality imitate Art?
The big story now is A Pregnant Man?
And the 1976 film was: A Slightly Pregnant Man
(Meaning both men had nothing in their bellies)
In 1994, we had Junior.
Today we have The First Male Pregnancy
(Very fascinating concept)
And just look at the titles we have on pregnant males!
I wonder if male pregnancy is just a Western fixation or do Arab men have fantasies of having a baby too? ![]()

so we can get rid of women now?
Purgatory you for one cannot live without Woman
Yes I can!
Is that Mr. Lee guy for real?
I think that’s unnatural.
Bah..we do enough hard work. Let the women suffer in pregnancy. Thats the least THEY can do for us.
Oh My GOD did you read what it said in the last page of Al Qabas today? ( I think it was Al Qabas?) There was an article about an Indian man who gave birth to his twin brother! The guy is 36 or37 years old and always suffered from a bloated stomach and it turned out that his twin was stuck there. There have only been I think less than 100 cases of this seen worldwide. So they had an operation to take the “janeeeen” out but they didn’t say whether or not he was alive but my hunch is that he was dead.
sorry J, tawni astaw3ib inna the article you posted was about the same guy.
Ummm no! I would rather not.. there is somethings I can do, and some things I cant.. this goes into the I cant category and I will leave it at that! loool!

I know for a fact that you adore women. All leos do. So don’t argue with me
Sam
That site is really well done and it almost got me. But it turns out it is a hoax site. See here on how to detect hoax sites:
“….http://www.genochoice.com/ the RYT Hospital at Dwayne Medical Center. My first question regarding the site would be where is Dwayne Medical Center located? Where are Elizabeth Preatner’s medical degrees from? Why aren’t there other links to different medical sites on this site’s homepage? Where is there a Contact Us feature which allows a user to ask questions or comments to a site supervisor? There are no statistical facts on this site. There is no link or symbol that would show that this center is provided by the FDA. There is no written text with facts about genochoice. It is on a video. Not only is this not accessible for the deaf, but it offers no evidence as to the success of genochoice; it is very subjective.
Students should look for the validity of a site before using its information. Other links on a site can be very informative as to a site’s validity. For example, if reputable med schools and the fda had links on this site I might be more inclined to believe it. Also, if it is a medical site proclaiming a cure, look for and analyze its research to see if it seems valid. Finally, not have any contact information for the institution where questions and comments can be directed is another warning sign that a site should not be taken as the absolute truth.”

Be prepared for anything to happen in the near future!
Read about male seahorses!
“…So, in a nutshell. Male seahorses compete with each other to become pregnant for three weeks (during which time they cannot move around to search for the best food), go through 72 hours of labour and exhausting final contractions to release up to 200 baby seahorses. During this process the natural colour of the male seahorse drains from his body and he becomes white and pasty looking. The experience (yes, we have it on film) looks painful and I cannot imagine that he would want to experience a baby seahorse birth again. But, after a very short time, sometimes only hours, the male starts showing off his pouch, begging to be pregnant again.”

I like how you know where your place is and what your duties are ;) I agree, though. Men could never endure pregnancy and childbirth.
1001Nights
Yes! What a horrible story. I felt so sorry for the poor man who was teased for 36 years about his karsha!!! And now they are teasing him about really giving birth too.
Fractal 100
I guess you’re right. But it is a fascinating concept.
Dunno about that … Males Pregnant ..there is something way wrong about that
jewaira
7aram 3alaich… I almost puked when I saw the first picture.
lol I guess I know your viewpoint on that subject then Hitman
hmm from your comment on purg: so you adore women too!!! la la jojo don’t be lesbo
Well if men we able to reproduce.. i believe it will save us lots of things.. specially that they will reproduce Asexually..
this is the case when men produce, its asexual… i like that
hehehe.
Jay:
So, for infertile dudes out there there may well be a ray of hope; surrogate fathers who will be happy to carry others’ babies for them, at a price, once they fine tune the technology and roll it out for the public.
Hmmn….the times are getting interesting. I suppose it will be a good 10-15 years after Dubai has embraced it before such an assisted reproduction means rocks Kuwait.
Well, I don’t think men’s bodies can carry the baby weight as well as women can. I tried to look the article up but I didn’t find it but there was this one time where a man could only carry a “dummy” baby and he lasted for three days only.
I am against anything that goes against nature. But then you ask “What is natural?” In any case, I don’t think we should fool around with Mother Nature. What’s next? Men breastfeeding? That’s a hairy situation indeed.
This is quite interesting I have to say…but I don’t think I wanna be pregnant…however, I’ll compensate that by providing all the care that my future wife needs. Do you think that’s a good conciliation? ^_^
Men are known to get pregnant with their brilliant ideas and thoughts, since the time of Adam & Eve
But if they truly ever got pregnant pregnant ; you know what I mean, I will eat my hat, and that’s a promise.
Holy m6awa3 LOL!
The first picture got me stunned!!
Yeah but I can get rid of them
Judy
And frankly, men don’t have it in them to nurture a baby - physically at least!
Is there anything more wonderful than conceiving a baby physically between a man and a woman during passionate lovemaking?
I am against asexual conception
Fun
Well, I would not be surprised if in future we hear: “In the good old days, when women used to get pregnant…..”
Erzulie
Lol! Yes the breastfeeding bit alarmed me a bit too. I guess they would have to go regularly for waxing.
Angel
You are going to be a great husband and dad. What a lucky woman
Upstairs Blogger
Lol! Don’t be so hard on men! It’s just not what they are made for
Mysterious
Yes, poor fellow. It is such an amazing story and how could someone go for 36 years like that! I feel such relief for him.
Purgatory
So, you are probably game for the idea of male pregnancy!
yes jojo there is something better… having a date “for teo pp; sp deeply in love but can’t be together”
Middle Eastern men getting pregnant? Hehehe
Sweetie, they have enough stretch marks from eating machboose at 10 pm at the dewania, why would they want to stretch their bellies more?
NO!
Judy
Hmmm
TheDon
Lol, another guy who is against the idea! Mmmmm machbuse!
Purgatory
Oh? And here I was thinking you were the avant garde mad scientist game for any new concept!
kids are evil, kill them all.
Remember what I said in Flamingoliya’s post? You will be married and with child within the coming year. Your resistance is typical of “shy” men on the verge of marriage and fatherhood!
Hmm. It’s an interesting concept but I can’t exactly visualize it. Where would the baby come out from? I have images in my head of balls popping. It’s disturbing. I believe, however, that much more men would die in childbirth than women, if male pregnancies were possible.
Jewaira, I have started a new blog at blogspot. verysubtle.blogspot.com I would be honoured if you paid me a visit
We shall see!
That would be nice if my husband could carry our kids instead of me
Nice post lady J, you cracked me up, you and your commentators LOL
my grandpa is so fat.
I think he’s pregnant.
Moe
You had me laughing there! What an imagination! I am glad you started a blog and I will go there right away!

Leilouta
In a baby carrier, you mean!
Ayya
hehehe, I didn’t expect our men to be so vehemently against the idea! Lol!
Guy
Hmmm, maybe grandpa needs some love
I can’t believe how lifeless someone could be to go through such lengths to make a whole site as a hoax…
I agree, Sam.

Here is one reason why we should find a way for men to have babies; just so that they understand what it is all about and not go and have a fit like this man in India:

Here is another interesting site Male Pregnancy (Answers.com) which also covers the concept of male pregnancy in MYTHOLOGY and POP CULTURE. Useful link.
Disgusting!
I think seahorses are adorable and the male carries the babies!
Seahorses, maybe.
