What better than to be swept away by fantasy? And what better than fantasy that sends out a universal message? My favourite lines:

Alfred Pennyworth: "Why do we fall? So we can learn to pick ourselves up again.?
Henri Ducard: “You travelled the world…Now you must journey inwards…to what you really fear…it’s inside you …there is no turning back.?

Rachel Dawes: “It’s not what you are underneath but what you do that defines you.?

Rachel Dawes: “What chance does [this city] have when the good people do nothing??

At the same token of #3

“As I grow older, I pay less attention to what men say. I just watch what they do. ”

To most , change and new idea are spooky :)
“I can’t understand why people are frightened by new ideas. I’m frightened of old ones. “

Lady J.

Mashallah, paying attention to every single word in the movie

3. Shurouq - June 27, 2005

I missed Michael Keaton..

Liam Neeson & Michael Caine were brilliant..

“A grown man who runs around the city dressed as a bat clearly has issues”
That was my favorite line :)

Nazzal
Interesting quotes and so true :)
Esetch
After seeing practically every kid’s film lately, it was nice to be moved by the dialogue of Batman Begins :)
Shurouq :) Oh yes! So many lines and situations from this film that are memorable!

People do alot….but most of it is negative

99.9% of the time they harm themsleves and others then end up suffering without knowing

No super hero can fix this….Not super 6ab6baai ..Not super Qallaf…Not super prime minister

People need to believe in an ideology.. a mission..

We need to have a clear aims and goals that we can achieve.

We need hard working leaders with a vision who will take this country to the level it deserves to be at.

The trouble is that so many good minds are quelled by apathy and those forces who resist positive change.

Good! So I wasnt the only one to connect with the movie that much! Sometimes they were talking about Kuwait and not Gotham when it came to corruption..

Good choices Jewaira! especially the 4th one.

I think this is the first time I’ve seen you come by! Welcome :) I’m glad you liked the movie. Yes, it could have been about any city / country really that’s why it was so appealing.
